can anyone tell me if a NY. home inspector can do commercial inspections?
Ben Z. replied:
In NY, if your insurer is Lexington Insurance Co, they limit any one commercial inspection to buildings of 100,000 sq. ft or less. Lexington excludes coverage for inspection of restaurants. See Part V. (Exclusions), Q. (j) toward the front of the policy. Some insurers do not limit or exclude commercial inspections.
