I have a question for someone experienced in heating and cooling for a home. My father in laws house was built in 76. It had the original single pane windows on it until two weeks ago. We were really hoping changing the windows would help the temperature of the home. We keep the thermostat on 70 auto cool. We have one room (me and my boyfriends room) that is about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. The air vent is in front of the window. Our window is 6'X6' and the outside of the house is wood except for our room is brick on the outside. Does anybody recommend what we can do to fix the temperature problem in our room?
