Groomers for un-socialized dogs? Hi Indy friends. I’ve recently adopted two mutts (16lbs and 95lbs) who have not been very well socialized. They need to be groomed and are in desperate need of a nail trim but I’m concerned that they may become aggressive if scared. Does anyone recommend any good groomers in the city? I’m on the Southwest side but I’m not opposed to driving a bit. Price isn’t really an object. I just want these dogs to be taken care of.

Give greenwood animal academy a call, when we adopted our dog he was so scared of baths and at the beginning needed to be sedated for grooming. The groomer there is so patient, and takes her time making sure that your dog is well taken care of. Our dog still goes to her even though sedation is no longer necessary. http://academyanimal.com/ If you need a dog trainer Connie Swaim is great, she used to work with the Humane society and only uses positive reinforcement training and is great answering questions even after you are done with your sessions. https://connieswaimcaninebehaviorservices.com/about/
