  Can anyone recommend decent family doctors in this city My long term girlfriend is running into a string of horrible luck when it comes to finding a decent family doctor to work with. She has been miss-diagnosed. Told they don't want to treat some of her issues. One Doc even go as far as saying her "lady issues make him uncomfortable" Last straw was today when going to her medical center as a walk in because her family doc there decided to give up his roster and being told that swelling in her jaw to the size of almost a golf ball was "normal and not and issue because some people have chubbier cheeks on one side" So ya, if anyone can recommend a decent family doctor who can deal with things like PCOS, thyroid issues and will treat hormone issues without it creeping him out or him wanting her to get pregnant, that would be great lol.

  Call Dr. Hajar on the north side (587-520-3561), he has been fantastic for me. Also, once she finds a dr she should get a referal to a gyno for the PCOS. Hope that helps :)
