Dog Boarding - Any suggestions? I have a conference I have to go to in October for 3 days. I won't be able to come back home to take my dog out so it'll be easier for me to take her to a boarding place to make sure she's fed and has plenty of love.
I've heard so many horror stories of bad boarding places for dogs.
Any suggestions for a good one? (And reasonably priced - not the ones that charge you 40 dollars for boarding plus another 30 dollars to take your dog out for a walk). I live up in Lakeview area but I'm wiling to make to drive if it's worth it!
Oh my dog is not aggressive, she already has her shots and she's five years old. She's very mellow.
Thank you for your help!

I like [Dog Days Inn](http://www.dogsdayinnchicago.com/) in Lakeview/Lincoln Park. Its $40/night, and it's open boarding so the pups play all day and come back exhausted. It's great. You do have to bring the dog in first for a trial day of day care (for free) to make sure she gets along with other dogs.
