Cheap, reliable tailor in D.C./Metro-Accessible Area? I'm looking for a cheap and reliable tailor to alter my suit and do some touch-ups on a vintage wool coat. I don't have a car, so it would be ideal to find someone in the city or a metro-accessible suburb.
Parts of the lining in the coat need to be sewn and 2 front buttons have to be reattached. I took the coat to a dry-cleaner in Dupont Circle and they appraised the work at $79. I think that's a little outrageous, given that the job wouldn't require any additional material or alterations.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Christopher Kim's on M St. Got two suits taken in there last year and although I don't remember the exact price, it was very reasonable. I assume lining and buttons will be much cheaper than 2 suits. Plus there's a $15 coupon on his website for first time customers. http://www.christopherkims.com/
