Air conditioning company suggestions? Average HVAC system replacement cost in SA? My AC absolutely struggles during the summers (not entirely surprising considering it's 23 years old), so I'm thinking about getting it (and the 18 year old furnace) replaced before the peak summer months hit. Anyone have a solid (preferably modestly priced) HVAC company they recommend?
Also, if anyone's had their system replaced recently, how much did it cost you? I've gotten three quotes so far, and they seem a bit on the high side. (Two were in the $12-14k range, the other was around $8k.) Then again, I've never had an AC replaced or know many people who have, so I don't have a good idea of what to expect.
Thanks!

Those quotes sound about right, it's a lot of work. You could just need the coil and condenser replaced opposed to the whole system. Check out these guys. http://beltranheatingandair.com/
Looking for honest HVAC company Last winter my heater started acting weird and I need to get it looked at before it gets cold. I don't want to have someone come out and give me an inflated quote in an effort to get me to purchase a whole new system. So far I've had Aramendia look at it and they quoted around $2k to fix it.

http://beltranheatingandair.com/ These guys have always been honest with me, have come out whenever I called, and have never tried to sell me a new system. I had to have a coil replaced, and a lot of the drainage reworked, and they charged me around $2 k. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Haven't had problems since.
