  Can anyone recommend a set of tree straps? At some point I lost the straps for my Hennessy Expedition, and I'm looking for a replacement. Considering that my hammock has built in suspension, a lot of what I'm seeing is WAY to long. My current straps are likewise too long and also have heavy steel rings, which I'm not in hurry to take backpacking. So, I'm looking for something shorter, which only needs to go around a tree, not all the way to the hammock, and lighter. If it costs more than 15$ I'll likely cut down the straps I have and get the sewing machine out. Thanks for any recommendations!

  https://dutchwaregear.com/product/woven-daisy-chain-webbing/ These are what I switched my Hennessy over to. I removed the ropes, and replaced with amsteel and biners. Much easier to set up, just clip into the loops, and it has slightly less weight and volume.
