  I'm anticipating my previous employer to deny my unemployment claim. Can anyone recommend an unemployment attorney to go through the appeals process? Any recommendations are appreciated.

  Not sure there is such a thing as an "unemployment attorney." Call Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (213) 640-3881 and ask for suggestions. Meanwhile make sure you are meeting deadlines for your appeal. Many, if not most, unemployment appeals are won because the employer does not show up for the hearing. Go to the state web site and read the instructions for appeal carefully. You should do fine by yourself.
