  A lot of people here have recommended Andrew Raphael of Happy Homes Painting (704-804-4513) for painting, so I'd try him first -- not sure if he does exterior painting where larger ladders and major scaffolding are needed. We used Southend (704-522-0000) a few years ago for exterior painting, and they were good.
