  Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy engagement rings? Hello fellow Austinites. I just moved to Austin about a year ago and am looking for a jewelry store to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend and was hoping for some recommendations. I normally google for reviews but was burned when I signed my lease as 5 of the 6 reviews were people that worked in the office and don't want to get burned for something like this.   After we went all around, we ended up going to http://www.franzettijewelers.com/ for a custom made ring. They are extremely affordable for the quality you get. They are also a family ran store with great customer service and stand beyond all their work. I can't recommend them enough! Good luck in your search!
