Best place to fix rimless eyeglasses? This year I finally got glasses for my vision. They cost over 300+ but I made the booboo of sitting on them about 3 months ago. I went to the place I bought them and asked them to fix them. They said sure and charged me 20$, my glasses now look lopsided and I want to get them fixed properly by someone who specializes in rimless glasses. Does anyone know such a place? I work in catering on the weekends and looking like wishy washy four eyes is not my goal. Any advice is appreciated! (Though I know spending over 300 for eyeglasses is the biggest advice :( I have my reasons)

I got my rimless glasses at [Manhattan Grand Optical](http://manhattangrandoptical.com/) on Grand Street, and when they broke, they fixed them for free. I don't know if they're "the best" place, but I really like them.
Looking for a reputable optical shop? Not Warby Parker I need new glasses and most of the places I have visited scream scam or ripoff. Just opticians that really seem to have no idea what they are doing. I want a place where the opticians actually know what they are talking about. Different lenses and coatings, etc. The place also needs to have regular frames not $500 designer pairs only.
Can anybody recommend anybody?
As for why not Warby Parker, they don't offer the options I want such as transitions.

When I needed a new pair of glasses a couple years ago, I ended up going with [Manhattan Grand Optical](http://www.manhattangrandoptical.com/) on Grand near Mott. I didn't get my check up there (went to H Optics for that - really good, professional doctor, but the frames/lens were kind of pricey), but MGO had a large selection of designer/non-designer frames, and everyone working there seemed knowledgeable. There are a bunch a optical shops in Chinatown, and I checked out like 5 or 6 of them and ended up going with the one on Grand because they had the frame I wanted for a good price (and, of course, the people working there were really nice/helpful).
