Trans girl failed suicide attempt in San Fran - Need a place to go Bay area local - I've only ever been to the city a couple times before and never on my own.
I've been having a pretty terrible couple weeks and just couldn't take it anymore. I decided that I'd drive an hour or so to the Golden Gate bridge and take the plunge.
While crossing over in my car I kind of freaked out and didn't have a moment to stop and figure out what I was doing and where I am going. I found a parking garage for a mall and I'm just sitting in my car kind of scared.
I don't want to go home tonight. My family has already been calling because I've been gone for a few hours.
Does anyone know somewhere I can go? A homeless shelter or some sort of LGBT community place? I'm 24, 6 months HRT and not presenting if that makes a difference.

You can try [here;](http://www.catsinc.org/a-woman-s-place.html) I have no idea whether they can help or what the place will be like, but seeing as you’re in a suicide crisis right now, one would think they’d see you as a high priority. If you have medical insurance, you could also go to an in-network hospital, considering that you’re technically having a medical emergency right now. They will likely put you in a care facility for 72 hours, which is boring and weird and expensive, but you’ll be safe.
