Our roof was replaced approx. 10 years ago & the issue is where we had an addition done over 20 years ago.   Here is some info from the guy that fixed my roof, actually called him out to give me an estimate. He seemed to be really honest as he went up on my roof and said I really didn't need a new roof and came back the next day and replaced all my vent boots (4) and only charged me $100.
