  Hi All! Hope this is ok to post. I know other's have asked for doctor recommendations previously but my request is a bit more specific. I was diagnosed with Celiac almost 5 years ago but also have Hashimotos. I have struggled with symptoms and side effects from Levothroxine and am now ready to get serious about finding a doc that will prescribe and help me make the transition to desicated Thyroid (maybe Armour?). Do you any of you have a doctor you can recommend? I am open to a Naturopath but would love to find a primary or endocrinologist that would also be supportive and is covered by insurance. Also open to anyone in the Portland area. I would be so grateful for the advise or guidance of anyone who has tackled this. Many thanks!

  I have hashimotos and I had to find a naturopath my reg doc knew nothing about natural thyroid and wasn't to enthusiastic about it. She's also covered by my insurance and I don't know why. In the past two years I've had two back surgeries, and I'm still in so much pain. I'm in physical therapy and recently had injections but nothing is helping.   A friend at work has had several back surgeries and she was referred to an acupuncturist/naturalpath. And it's working. She is amazed by how much it's helped. It's Kwan-Yin Healting Arts Center in Portland off NW Flanders 503-701-8766. I see Dr. Chen for allergies, she's an acupuncturist there and she's amazing! Helping with all sorts of aliments
