  Does anyone know what percent real estate agents usually charge? And is it only on sells, or is it on buys also? And lastly, is it a different amount if they are listing agent also? Thanks!

  Brenda, we here at Icon Realty & Management usually negotiate the listing amount with our clients. 5% is what we charge and we split that with an agent who brings the buyer. If you are buying a home there is no fee for you to pay. The seller's agent will pay your agent if you make an offer on a home. You can give us a call with questions at 919-539-5218
