Hi there! Looking for a reliable company to deliver oil...we are transitioning to gas but are not there yet! Its getting chilly and we are low on oil, hoping for a company to come out this week.
I know this has been mentioned on here before....Anybody recommend a home heating oil company ? right now I'm using Oil Patch, just got a Bill for 331.05.....ouch ! That's 158.4 gallons.....They are based in Philly....

CODoil.com has great prices.... Or I use Allstate Fuel Oil.
I feel violated..just had a delivery of oil for 3.249. I am outraged. Please share ideas on a good solid local oil company that has fair prices and service..for now I'm not interested in any funky arrangements or collectives. anyone belong to heat USA? Oh and there is no gas on my street and not a propane fan or changing my heater...

I get my oil from COD Oil. Last week it was $2.36/gallon. CODoil.com.
I'm shopping around for the cheapest oil. The company I currently use (Love Effron) is $3.39 per gallon. I don't want to pre pay and I can cash. Anyone know of a better price?
Need help! I have an oil delivery and service contract with a local oil company. Their per gallon oil price is getting too expensive as compared to other companies so now I'm either looking for another full service oil company OR a recommendation on a boiler repair person and I'll separately order my oil. Any recommendations?

When we had oil heating, we used COD Oil. Not full service, so you'd need another company for repair/maintenance of furnace, but discounted prices. It's will-call. You keep track of the oil and call in an order when you need it. Daily price per gallon is available on website. http://www.codoil.com/
My husband and I will be in need of an oil company in October with so many out there we would love personal recommendations. Dos and don't are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

We have switched to propane but used COD Oil for years and were very pleased. They are an "on demand" company - just call and order when you need oil. You'll need to be on top of your tank gauge but it so much less expensive than being on a contract plan which we had prior to COD. You can check prices daily at their website. They don't service oil burners, though, so you'd need a separate company for that. http://codoil.com/
