[QUESTION] 9 strings around $1000? I’m looking to buy a 9 string- preferably multi scale, that’s around $1000. I can’t seem to find many comparisons between 9 strings, so if you have any recommendations, please recommend away!
Feelin_Proggy replied:
Agile! I have one of their LP copies and can attest to how good their QC is. You can find them on rondomusic.com. They have some 9-strings well under 1 k and one with trem that's multiscale for 900$.
[QUESTION] 7 string recommendations I'm looking to purchase a 7 string, what would you recommend for around $500 or less? I've played several of the $200 entry level models that are usually found at guitar center, I'm not opposed to getting one of those and upgrading it but I figured I would ask for some recommendations first. If it helps I play mostly math-rock and prog metal. Right now the Ibanez RG7421 is catching my eye, does anyone have any experienece with it?

Check out agile guitars on rondomusic.com I love my 7 string
So my son turns 5 next month and says he wants a mini bass for his birthday, Anyone know where I can get one for cheap?
Dennis G. replied:
rondomusic.com thet have an inexpensive starter collection
Ethan T. replied:
Yes! The SX basses from Rondo Music are actually great quality for the price, and they have a few short scales available. If he distinctly wants a bass (instead of "I wanna play guitar!") that young, then start him early, you'll both be grateful!
Hey guys! Im looking for an Semi Hollow bodied guitar for around under $500 any suggestions on brands and model or builders? If i half to go up to $700 i will but thats the limit.
Joshua M. replied:
Xavier guitars at guitarfetish.com I have found to be the best guitar for the money. Also Agile guitars at Rondomusic.com are very good.
Kyle asked....
Hey, my name is Kyle Garrett, and I play guitar and bass. The sad thing is, I don't own a bass. I always have to borrow my friends. I'm looking for a good model, but also affordable, any suggestions?
Jon L. replied:
Best bang for your buck: SX from rondomusic.com
Ed M. replied:
Check out Rondo Music online . I have 2 of there basses love them very well made I did have them hot rodded with DiMarzio pups.
Michael H. replied:
I'm a huge fan of Carvins. They're incredibly underrated basses and, as such, you can get a GREAT bass for much more affordable than you can going with Fender, Music Man, etc. If you're looking for something even cheaper check out Rondo music. They have some pretty nice gear for really cheap. (Granted, it's not going to stack up against a name brand for long...)
Kevin W. replied:
Go to www.Rondomusic.com . Great stuff Great prices.
Hey Y'all..... Matt wants to know....
I figured someone 'round these parts would have an answer to this question. Where might one find a moderately priced($300-$500) 32" scale bass? The only ones i can find new are either significantly more expensive than that or very cheap. Is there a company out there that makes this scale length for a decent price? Thanks for your consideration!
Any of you have any suggestions for Matt?
share them here!
Jordan L. replied:
32 inch would be a tele bass, heck out squier vintage modified telecaster bass. I think they're 32 inch. If not, go to www.rondomusic.com and check out their sx basses. Cheap and they should great for the price too.
Anyone able to recommend customised Telecaster builders? Preferably 7's.
Dane A. replied:
Try Agile guitars! They make tele body 7's and 8's... I think they even make 9 stringers too! You can find them at rondomusic.com and go to electric guitar section to finde the Agiles.
Just wondering if anyone knows of where I could find a 5-6 string fretless jazz style bass on the cheap? I know that is a tall order, but just checking my options. Thanks
Doug L. replied:
Rondomusic.com. The basses come and go but they might have something you like.
Can anyone recommend a good, CHEAP, guitar to start learning? Never learnt before, looking to learn, and am primarily interested in guitar to provide instrumentals for singing. Cannot really go beyond $200.
4AM_Mooney_SoHo replied:
[Rondo Music](http://www.rondomusic.com/) Awesome quality guitars for way less than the name brand versions. Usually made in the same factory. I am not a representative for them, I just know the guitarist from my band swears by them, and I have his Agile strat clone take an insane beating and keep playing in tune. I think it was $200 or less. Hell of a good guitar for the price. They are way better than the comparably priced "name brand guitars." Personally, once I get some spare cash I want to get one of their Les Paul arch-top clones.
What would you recommend for a CHEAP electro-acoustic guitar? Really looking for the best value budget E-A guitar... Any advice would be amazing.
If this is the wrong place could you give me a pointer, thanks!

How cheap? RondoMusic.com has been good to me in the past. Otherwise, keep your eyes peeled on CL and just give it a play before you buy. That way if it's garbage, you can walk away.
R/Guitar I'm considering getting a mandolin, anybody know of a quality low cost one? I went to post this in r/mandolin but it seems dead over there. I've been looking for a cheapish mando (less than $150) to fool around with and as I'm going through the different models/brands I have no idea where to start.
I've tuned my uke to fifths and am having a blast. I can't wait to get the real thing.

Where can I find cheap used guitars online? I am looking for affordable guitars that need some work. I want something to tinker with. Body damage and bad electronics don't matter either.
