  I was seen by Coast Dental today. I was told my ONE cavity that I have isn't covered by my insurance because its a top tooth! ( I have very good dental insurance) So then I proceed to tell them to just do my 6 month FREE cleaning and they say NO we can't because you have periodontal disease which I will need a deep cleaning for $340. Funny my last dentist in NY 6 months ago said my teeth were in excellent shape, nice teeth! ( Did the 6 month cleaning for free) I have notified my dental insurance so they are aware of this racket. Anyone else ever have a problem with them? I need a better dentist. Suggestions? Thanks

  I work for Dr James Wasielewski. We're not a "pediatric" office, but we are family dentistry and we see kids as early as 1-2 years old! We take all kinds of insurance and have some decent self pay pricing. Our office number is 352-686-7688. He takes his time and actually likes kids.
