  I bought a house in Newberry in September, but due to "title issues" that are FINALLY solved, I just got a clear title last week. I want to sneak up there this week to get the power and heat going but I will need a cheap motel to stay for a day, maybe two. Everything I've found online is $100 a night. I can't do that. Any other places that might not be on the website search engines? Thanks!

  Gateway about $60 a night clean right in town across from. State Police station. 906-293-5651. My son and I stayed there in Feb snowmobiling and my wife and I stayed this summer when up there for a wedding both trips were very pleasant staying there.
