He also did a major renovation for us, built a deck and redid/screened in our front porch.

We used Derek Biedenkapp-his business is HEB Carpentry 410-935-9166. He put on an addition for us and a small deck last summer and renovated our master bath this past winter. He also did our other neighbor's large deck. I'd be happy to show you his work. Very honest and reliable. I did not have a good experience with 3 contractors from this neighborhood-2 came to look at the space and never followed through with an estimate and another who came and looked at the work, told us we didn't need a permit (we did), told us he'd do the work and never called back.

Julie C. replied:YES! Just had an addition put on by Derek Biedenkapp (HEB Contractors) 410-935-9166. Very conscientious and fabulous to worth with. All his sub-contractors were great too. Two of the above mentioned contractors...not so much One came, gave an estimate and when we said we'd worK with him never heard from him again. THe other came, said he's give an estimate, told me he sent an estimate-but HE never did. Too bad for them-they lost my business.
