[Discussion] How do you go about installing a public Tesla Charger I am looking to install 2 public Tesla chargers(and 2 ChargePoint chargers) for a time share in Lake Placid, NY. I know with ChargePoint they will help guide you and help setup the installation.
For Tesla chargers is there a similar thing? Do you call or contact Tesla and they help with the installation? Or do you just go buy their $500 chargers and call an electrician?
If Tesla stays out of it how/who do you contact to make sure they show up on google and Tesla is aware of it?
Specific to NY you get a pretty sizable tax credit per charger. Does anyone have any insight on how or what is needed by way of documentation for that?
Any additional advice or help would be great.

If you were to just buy the chargers from them and then have really any qualified electrician install them, they would not show up as destination chargers though. If you wanted them to, you would need to apply [here](https://www.tesla.com/charging-partners) and see what they say.
