  Rivky S. wrote: He showed up, explained the different styles of locks, and fixed our lock and door and even went the extra mile to make it look nice. This was the third repair on this lock and the first time that I feel confident that we have a working door. Thank you!

  In the end, I ended up not changing the lock. When I contacted Upharatzta to tell him I'd like to pay him anyway -- for his time and willingness to do the job -- his response was "You owe me nothing."
  
  Although I cannot endorse Upharatzta for his locksmithing skills, I heartily recommend him for being such a *mensch.* If ever I need a locksmith... he's the person I'll be calling!
