Boarding for a reactive/dog-selective dog? We have a 5 year old mutt who LOVES people but is really iffy when it comes to other dogs. We also have some travel coming up and our people who usually watch him aren't available.
We've tried the daycare thing (Dog Daze and Camp Bow Wow) as a trial but the big group play setting is definitely not for him. We have also used Rover in the past and, while we lucked out with one girl, she moved away and I am having a really hard time finding anybody in our area who was taking new clients.
Basically, wondering if anybody has recommendations for a smaller or in-home pet sitting service that is within an hour of the North Side and has experience working with a dog who needs to be slowly introduced to other dogs (if at all). Any recommendations appreciated.

My dog's groomer boards a small number of dogs. They're located near Crafton on Rt. 60. Very sweet and caring people. Merlyn Kennels 4209 Steubenville Pke Pgh 15205 412-921-7878
