  We've ended up using Thrifty, booking direct through their .com website. Used to use eurocar.com (?) but seemed to always end up with Thrifty. The only snag is that they seem to be furthest from the terminal in the car park, so you pay for not walking so far by using Hertz. I guess the daily rate for using an airport is less the greater the distance you walk! Are the rates you've been quoted inclusive of insurance and taxes? I find the rate up front (Thrifty do give me a total estimate) is about half what we pay. Read the insurance details carefully, we don't pay for half of them as we have travel insurance covering some items, and our house insurance covers others. Best of luck. (I take it they are daily figures ;-))
