  Exede used to be Wild Blue... we had them and didn't like them at all! Went with DISH.net -- I like them ALOT better. They "reset" every month and don't have to worry about going "over" your bandwidth. And no, you don't have to have a landline either

  You will need to check with Frontier to see if you can get their "High Speed" internet service. (only DSL, Vernonia does not have FiOs) If where you live is able to get that, that is what you should go with (IMO). We recently moved out of the Frontier Internet service area and had to go with Satellite internet so we did the bundle with Dish.Net. It is contracted with Hughes.net. The internet service is pretty much what we expected after doing some research. (but it's all that is available!) After you use up your allotted GB, you still have a connection but the speed is GREATLY reduced. We chose the 10 GB bundle and with 4 of us in the household it took us about 10 days to use up the 10 GB. You can buy 10 additional GB at $10 for each 10 GB. With Dish.net I am able to log in to my account and keep track of how many GB we have left. If you are in the Frontier internet service area, hopefully you aren't in a 2 year contract with Hughes.net. :(
