I had braces for years in middle school/high school so don't need those again, just needing an impression of my teeth and retainers made for them. I reached out to Premier Orthodontics but they said it would be $564 for upper/lower retainers. Apparently my dental insurance doesn't cover orthodontics. In my old town I was able to get retainers for about $100 (can't remember if it was for upper/lower combo or just one of the two but still a lot less pricey than Premier). Does anyone have any recommendations for orthodontists in Sac area for what I need done? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

  I used [Sporting Smiles](https://www.sportingsmiles.com) (Amazon or directly through site) to replace a clear retainer (after metal braces). The upper cost me $85 - or looks like $110 for upper and lower- with prepaid shipping to send the mold back. The mold kit was easy to use and they keep the impressions for a year.
