HVAC Recommendations? Hey, r/greenville, came home from work yesterday to an 80 degree house. I got a basic quote for a blower motor repair that seemed outrageous to me. I have a second opinion from a different company scheduled for tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations on who to call. Also, if you've had a blower motor go out for you, what was the cost to repair? Thanks

I just recently had my unit replaced. Had a bad compressor and every company came out telling me 1.5-1.8 k to replace it. I called Guthrie heating and they told me I was warrantied with parts and labor and they gave me a brand new unit for free. Not sure what they’ll charge you but I’d give them a call: http://guthrieheating.com
