Hello and Welcome to FreeDonationsOrg! This website is dedicated to and inspired by Haruko ‘Kudo’ Mayfield.
As a previous donor of Red Cross and United Way, I always wondered what happened to all of my contributions. I really didn't know where and to whom they were going or even if it made a real difference in the lives of others.
I hear bad press on the news concerning these types of organizations how they use these funds and donated items for purposes other than what they were intended for, to help families in need. Sadly and regrettably, I just stopped giving because I didn't know who to trust.
So here’s the idea and concept behind FreeDonations.Org. We encourage everyone to give freely and to donate your belongings, property or money to help families in need.
However, the receiver must write and submit to the donor a short but compelling story as to why they should be receiving your gift.
The donor will then choose the likely candidate to receive their gift(s) based upon the needs of the family. It’s that simple! This way, you can be sure your donations are getting to the families who really need them.
Maybe you don’t have anything to donate. Well, that’s ok too. You can still post ads on our classified ads section.
Posting an ad is free and expires after 30 days from which you can then re-list or re-post your item for another 30 days.
Do you want your ad to stand out among the rest? For $10 you can have your ad posted on the top slider in the ‘Featured Listings’ section for 30 days.
We recommend PayPal for all transactions. PayPal has over 152 million active registered accounts, processes 9.3 million payments everyday, available in 203 markets and is very secure and safe to use. Paypal handles all financial disputes regarding your transactions.
