  Wage lawyers in Tallahassee Anyone know of good lawyers that deal with unpaid wages? I worked at a restaurant during June, but I ended up quitting due to the employer giving me bad checks. I am still owed hourly pay and tips for June 15th-30th. I’ve been trying to collect my pay, and other employees have already received their pay for that pay period. The employer keeps making excuses (ex: payroll guy was sick) and lying about sending my check (said it was mailed out, but it was never received). She will not reply to any texts or calls and will not come out of the back to talk to me when I go in (everything she has told me about my check has been relayed through other employees). I’m looking for a lawyer experienced with these type of situations so that I can find out what my rights are, how to go about collecting my pay, and how to file a lawsuit if needed.
