Hi! Does anyone have fun ideas of things to do around Jerusalem besides going to the shuk/Ben Yehuda/Mamilla/Old City? (Or even some lesser-thought-of ideas within those places) My boyfriend and I are thinking of spending a day together just exploring (probably Sunday night through the full day Monday) and we want ideas!
I know this is a super broad post, just start throwing ideas at me and let's see where this goes!
There's a lot of places we've been to recently because we were on a group trip and we'd rather switch things up a bit. For example, we went to the Israel Museum, which was awesome, but since we were just there we'd probably rather look into different museums. I also heard there's some nice parks but I don't know details. I'm not sure of other ideas...
We've already done a lot of shopping, I'm open to good ideas for clothing stores though (went to Zoya, but most of their stuff either seems low quality or like stuff I'd only wear on like special occasions, not everyday), otherwise we'd rather do other things. Oh unless someone happens to know where to find like Hebrew alphabet fridge magnets lol, like colorful plastic ones, we tried to find a set today but couldn't.
I know this is a Jerusalem group, but we'd also consider going up to Tel Aviv instead (since we've spent a LOT of time in Jerusalem recently and very little in Tel Aviv), so if anyone has ideas there that'd help too. Jerusalem's logistically easier though since we're both staying in parts of Jerusalem already. I don't think we'd go farther than Tel Aviv, but if anyone knows of other cities (maybe Jaffa?) that's great too. (Feel free to point me to other Facebook groups)
Also, cute date night restaurant suggestions would be great, as an example we both love Cafe Rimon but we're open to other ideas (must be kosher), as long as they're not outlandishly expensive! A lot of the places we've been to have been super casual so it might be nice to go somewhere a little nicer (like Rimon)
