While Yasko is more focused toward chronic illness. Her website is extremely helpful. I was working with a Dr who was training under Lynch and it became pretty clear that I was farther along than my doctor. So, I've been doing it on my own with great success. www,KnowYourGenetics.comChelsea W. replied:most of Heartfixer's diagrams are from Dr. Yasko's book "Genetic Bypass" which is free at www.knowyourgenetics.com. She published this in 2005! "Autism Pathways" outlines her whole protocol and it is worth reading even for those without autism especially for the important info on glutamate/gaba balance and diet. Dr. Nancy Mullan MD does free Tuesday 5 pm Pacific conference calls (she is off for a couple of weeks but sign up for her emails and you will be alerted when she is back) and on almost every call she guides someone through beginning Dr. Yasko's protocol and she suggests fewer sups than are on the "Simplified Protocol." She helped Dr. Y edit her book on biochemical lab testing so she has insights on that too. Dr. M often recommends starting by opening an ALL in ONE and taking what will fit on the flat end of a toothpick. This is how I would start if I started today. You could buy other brands of similar products and get them cheaper or you could just use the report for ideas and informational purposes only. I think it's a handy report to have and for free, there is no harm in getting one and checking it out.
