  Haircut anxiety and bad experience I have anxiety when people are cutting my hair, and it seems to be getting worse as the years go by. I got the worst haircut of my life at Ulta a few months ago. This young girl had no idea what she was doing and every time she asked me what I thought, it had gotten worse. Finally I just ended it and I've hated my hair ever since. I'm trying to grow it out from a short cut, and I need it evened up so it will look remotely stylish as it grows. Can anyone recommend a competent stylist who won't break the bank (I'm female)?

  Try Theresa Savastano at Glenn Hampton House, 336-272-8095. I have some female friends who think she's terrific. She's been cutting my hair for a long time and always does a great job.
