Recommendations for nice lunch Hello r/Sacramento,
I am back for another recommendation! I am new to the area, and looking for a good lunch place to take my mom. She will only eat within the general realm of American, Italian, and French cuisine. Farm-to-fork anything is a plus. Sky's the limit on the price-point - her fave place to lunch when I was at Cal was Chez Panisse (upstairs).
I would love to take her somewhere within the city limits, since it's her first time visiting and she is only here for lunch. On that note, anything you think a tourist must see? Old Town Sac? McKinley Rose Garden?
Thank you all so much! You were all very kind when I was looking for a local yarn shop :)

Maybe not what you are looking for this time around, but I want to put a plug in for Casa Garden. It is a volunteer run restaurant that supports the Sacramento Children’s Home. http://casagarden.org/
