  Lovell Plumbing & Heating (they do AC too) (859) 987-2925. Saved me almost two grand when Bryant HVAC told me I needed a new furnace. Instead Lovell cleaned my main heat exchanger, which was caked from the previous homeowner not using filters, worked perfectly since! These guys are the Best and would be my only call if I ever have an issue again.

  Few things first. 1. Make sure the smell isn’t coming from the bowl itself, pin point where it is coming from 2. If coming from bowl or basin, clean it. 2.a. Water trap should prevent all smells from bowl, except residual poopy. Mold can cause some horrific smells from the basin up top. 3. If smell is coming from base of toilet after cleaning call Lovell plumbing & HVAV (859) 987-2925. I love these guys, saved me a whole heating unit when I bought my house, would trust them with anything. The smell from the base can come from a leaky seal, which means the doody is in your structure. Get on it ASAP.
