  Do you drive? Or a student without access to a car? I aks bc the Farmer's Market Co-Op of East Liberty is an indoor, year round farmer's market. [http://www.farmersmarketcooperativeofeastliberty.com/](http://www.farmersmarketcooperativeofeastliberty.com/) Also, the East End Food Co-Op is close-ish to Oakland, again provided you have transportation. Neither of which I'd classify as "affordable" but maybe worth checking out for you.
