  Primary Care Doctor - Need Recommendations My doctor is retiring and I'm looking for personal recommendations for a new family doctor. My doctor was amazing and will be tough to replace, but I'm confident there are others out there who are just as good! I consider an outstanding doctor one which you can easily recognize really cares about their patients. They are not condescending or arrogant. Also, the doctor doesn't make you feel rushed when you visit, even though we are all of course built into a finite time block. Finally, I prefer an actual MD as opposed to a Physicians Assistant. Does anyone else feel they have an outstanding doctor? ​ I live Uptown, but don't mind traveling 20 minutes or so for appointments. If it's helpful to know, I am a 29yo male and have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. If you know that your doctor is taking new patients, that will be helpful. If you do not know, I can certainly call and check on that myself.
