Psychiatrist recs?? Does anyone know of any good psychiatrists in the area who take United Healthcare or have affordable payment options?? Not doing well mentally at all (hence the need for a psychiatrist lol) so I’ve been super overwhelmed trying to find someone and haven’t had much luck so I’m starting to get frustrated. I’ll take counselor/therapist recs too but things are kind of bad enough that I’m trying to jump straight to a psychiatrist to get an evaluation
PS: I feel like whoever set up the system so that mentally ill people have to track down their own help made a big mistake lmao. It feels like I broke both legs or both arms and someone put me in the drivers seat and told me to drive to the hospital myself smh

Psychiatrist Recommendations Hey all, I’m in search of a couple doctors. I’m looking for recommendations for a psychiatrist who specializes in adult ADHD and a therapist who specializes in manic depression. I have United Healthcare for insurance and can’t do out of network. Thank you in advanced!

I would recommend contacting Connections They are like a head hunting service for mental health. You call, tell them what you want, and they find you matches with qualifying providers that are accepting patients. It’s a huge help to take so much leg work out of the search process. Best part is it is free. 970-221-5551https://www.healthdistrict.org/services/connections-adult-services
Looking for ADHD therapist that takes CSU student insurance Since ADHD testing through the student health center is paused, I'm needing to look for someone in the Fort Collins community that can help me pursue a diagnosis that takes the student health insurance. Anyone have recommendations/experience?

Mental Health Help? Anyone know of places that offer therapy, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc without insurance, and without it costing too much? Like an affordable place for people with no insurance, I guess is what I’m after.
I need help. I’m depressed and suffer from anxiety. My husband believes I have ADHD from me telling him what I have to go through every day, and his brother experiences the same. I need a diagnosis. I need someone who knows what medicines will help me. I tried Wellbutrin in the past, for 6-7 weeks, and it hurt my short-term memory excessively. I get irrationally upset at small things and it causes fights with my husband over little things that he won’t forget because of the way I hurt him. I’m tired of not being able to control myself in those circumstances. Please help.

Fort Collins Connections can get you in touch with a professional based on your own criteria, and a lot of the places they work with have a sliding fee scale. (970) 221-5551
Probably not the best day to ask... but can anyone recommend a good therapist for individual counseling? A huge thanks in advance, if you can.

Gyno/GP/Therapist Recommendations? Hi r/FortCollins! I'm new-ish to town (moved here last fall), and I need to find a gyno, general practitioner, and therapist in town.
It took me a long time to find doctors that I really liked in my old city, so I'm hoping to be pickier from the start this time. Can you guys recommend anyone in particular?
I have Blue Anthem, so UC Health is in network for me along with a bunch of other spots.
I don't have any specific health conditions, but I am looking to get my tubes tied soon (tubal ligation) so I want to find a gyno to discuss the procedure with. As for a therapist, I'm looking for someone to help with general anxiety/depression and interpersonal stuff.
Thaaaaaaaanks!
