  Can any suggest a good seamstress who can either remake or alter ( possibly major) a dress. Being short and on the fat side makes it very difficult to find a dress off the rack for my status asMOB. Thank you for any suggestions. Too, if you know of any consignment shops that might deal with higher end or semi or formal wear may be an option.

  I have used a lady out Martintown Road a couple of miles after I-20. Her name is Bea and shop is "Sew Bea It" Retired from commercial sewing, she now has a large shop at her home. I'm sure she'd do a great job for you. Her # is 803 278 2647
