Looking for a great Italian restaurant in Houston. My mom insists on taking me out to eat for my birthday every year and having me choose the location. At first, I was thinking A Taste of Texas, but now I'm thinking I could go for Italian. I love Prima Pasta and have been known to dine at Maggiano's, but I would like to try out something different this time. It can be anywhere in the greater Houston area, but I wouldn't want either of our entrees to cost over $60. If it helps, I enjoy fish and I'm looking for the stronger flavors and spices associated with authentic Italian cuisine. So much of our American-Italian fare is bland and tasteless. I am looking for the opposite of that.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

[Damien's Cucina](https://www.damians.com/menu/#pasta) for the grilled sea bass in wine sauce, [Antica Osseria](http://www.anticarestaurant.com/menu) does a nightly fresh fish special, always great, and [Vincent's](https://ninos-vincents.com/vincents/menu/) for the eggplant and shrimp stuffed snapper - all of these are our favorites.
