Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
I am a native of this area and extremely involved in the community, my philosophy is being a problem solver. Any problem I'll solve it. I spent 25 years in restaurants, from dish washer to COO. Had a family had to have better balance, and insurance is where I thought I could find it, residual income, I own it, and can manage my own schedule. Unlimited income.
Describe a typical work day for you?
In the office at 7:30 and going all day until 5:50 usually. Evenings are for family, especially my wife. Supporting my kids in all their endeavors. Weekends... who knows I'm game, dial me up I might join you!
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
Insurance is the most misunderstood concept that everyone has a need for! I love providing solutions to those needs.
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
Communicate, Communicate, Communicate....be honest. With great information I can help you most effectively.
What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
I had an agent who was getting life policy applications without payment. I said reiterate to the clients that insurance is not in place till payment is received. Also... If you step out that door and something horrible happens, the policy will not pay. The client decided to pay the initial down payment. The husband was in a fatal accident within the first 30 days prior to the policy issuing. The policy paid the wife $500,000 allowing her to grieve without financial stress, and to stay in their new home without disrupting the kids lives anymore than it already had.
