Newly homeless and just got in Philly, any advice? Hey guys, won't bore you with the details but my family situation kind of fell apart and now I'm in Philly for the first time in like 10 years without a place to stay.
Is there like a list of services and where to get them somewhere? Ideally I'd like to get a bus out of town but I don't know if they do that here - anything like shelters and free food would help though while I raise money to get to a more stable situation.
I also read tarot and play a banjolele - any advice for good busking spots in the city? I tried Rittenhouse square and South Street but neither were too good, although it might have been because it was a cold Tuesday. Do you need a permit to make it legit though, or does anyone know where to go to stay on people's good side?
Thanks in advance for the help and advice Reddit. I'm motivated to get out of this situation and I think a little info will go a long way for me.
