  Hey guys, Bought an RMZ 250 2010 last week and it is having a bit of trouble getting into 3rd once hot. It's not really bad, doesn't happen all the time etc. but I do notice it, and when it happens it annoys the shit out of me haha. Is it likely to be a gear synchro/something expensive or potentially just due an oil change/clutch adjustment etc? Can anyone a recommend a cost efficient/decent/reliable bike mechanic in the South Eastern Suburbs? Cheers

  Hey adam, Its very common on the rmz250 s. I mod them to put a rmz450 detent spring in but unfortunately the damage may already be done. I can do the mod and see if it helps. If it doesn't then some gears will need to be replaced Bout $140 job which includea gasket, oil, coolant, dentent spring and 1 hour labour www.facebook.com/mpmoto22

  You would be better off rebuilding yours. Even if it needs cases, cylinder etc it would still be cheaper than a complete new motor if anyone even has one. Check out www.facebook.com/mpmoto22
