Does anyone in the area know of a good therapist who understands complex trauma and trans-ness and won't try to push us into stuff we don't want to do in therapy. And takes Medicaid?

Yeah that does not sound like good therapy. Being transferred at a big service like SCS is sometimes unavoidable but can feel sucky. Have you tried http://www.gaylesbianseattlecounseling.com/ ? I know Calvin and could be a good person to call at least. Maybe he knows some resources if he can't help.

Have you tried Seattle counseling service? I believe they might be contracted to be able to receive Medicaid. They are also LGBT specialist. I don't know if any private therapists that can take Medicaid. And feel free to shop the therapists they have to offer - ask questions that pertain to your needs. Like ยท Yesterday at 11:02 am
