Can anyone recommend a quilt shop to visit in Savannah, GA?
I've looked online and only find one....is that possible that there is only one shop in all of Savannah???
Chris S. replied:
There are two that I visited this past summer. Colonialquilts.com and sewmuchmore.com both nice little shops.

Sew Much More in Garden City, just a few miles away. Great Shop

It is limited and even with Savannah College of art & design her in town! I do a lot of shopping at Hancock's. Their Absolutely Cotton line is Good and they have big sales. Sew much more is in Garden City (on the East side of town) my quilting buddy goes to them all the time. I've yet to make it there since I'm on the Southside of town and just don't get over there as often.

Colonial Quilts is 1/4 block away from Abercorn Street (204). Great selection and Sew Much More is not as close, but has a great selection also with great staff.

Living in Savannah we have Colonial Quilts and Sew Much More is in Garden City which is probably 20 mins. away from each other, Stepping Stones is on St. Simons Island that is a little over an hour hours drive. Oh yes we have Hancocks, Hobby Lobby and JoAnns. Not a fan of the last 3 stores.
