  Cal BMW was always good to me. Tri-Valley in the East Bay is same ownership. Ted Porter's BeemerShop in Scott's Valley is a great independent shop.

  Bob's does okay work, but they farm it out entirely and have no in-shop expertise anymore. Send your heads to Ted Porter at the Beemershop in Scotts Valley, CA. He's an independent shop with reasonable prices, a tremendous amount of experience, and great customer service. Ted will spend as much time as it takes on the phone with you talking you through what your options are and what you want.
