Anyone contract out a whole house (or major house) renovation that they would recommend? Hello!
We are in the beginning process of buying our first home (to live in for a long time, NOT flip) and are considering older homes (40+ years) that will need work and updating.
We are researching ahead to see if anyone has any recommendations or experience with anyone in town who has done this type of big job. We’re talking removing walls, adding enclosed patios, maybe opening up ceilings, complete bathroom and kitchen upgrades. That type of stuff.
Will definitely need a structural engineer and other utility specialists (plumbing, electrical). Perhaps a general contractor that can coordinate all of these things for us?
We appreciate any recommendations :)
Thanks ahead of time!
Also, knowing who to avoid is good too...if you want to PM with any recs on who not to use. Thnx
Edit:typo (defined to definitely)
