I'm about 15 minutes outside of the city, and have a pretty decent size (\~50 or 60 ft) pine tree that I want taken down. I would really appreciate any information at all that you're willing to share. Is it difficult to find an insured tree service? What sort of cost can I expect if I'm only looking for the tree to be taken down without cleanup? Is there a standard pricing method I can expect?

  Call Sean Finn at C&S Tree and Property Services in Averill Park, 518-491-4206. He's taken down 20+ trees for me and is always great to work with. Will also leave the wood cut up or haul away depending on what you want.
