  The Springfield Metro Bar Association has a referral service. Their number is (417) 831-2783. She may also try Legal Services of Southern Missouri. They are a nonprofit that try to connect low-income and elderly with legal aid. Their number is (417) 881-1397. Your friend may also want to pursue a consumer complaint against their landlord through the Missouri Attorney General. They have a consumer protection hotline and the number for that is (800) 392-8222.
