Ive been doing bridal hair for over 15 yrs at a salon in Birmingham and recently thought i would go it alone and i have to say its probably one of the most enjoyable jobs ever. Ive been on many hair up courses with Wella,Toni & Guy and Patrick Cameron for inspiration but nothing inspires me more than the bride herself, from a little girl they have an idea of how they want to look and you just feed off their ideas, their dress, their hair, everything just slots into place and it gives me great pleasure in being the chosen one to help fullfill that dream. To be there on the morning of their wedding at gorgeous venues or even their nans front rooms, sharing laughter and tears helping them get into 'the dress' and of course creating something beautiful with the hair which compliments everything from their make up to the venue whether its a vintage, romantic or modern setting the hair is vital in blending with the scenery. Its not only doing brides hair its also keeping them calm, having a giggle,trying not to let her mum cry when she see's her daughter in all her glory. To see your work of art walk down the isle for everyone to see is an amazing feeling, as one bride once said 'its totes amaze' .
